Program fees and estimated additional costs for fall and spring or summer programs are outlined below, as is information about scholarships that can be applied towards the program costs.
Scholarships
Los Angeles program applicants are encouraged to apply for SCT Scholarships.
Los Angeles Internship Scholarship
A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified Temple students. The amount of the scholarships varies and is based on need and merit. The awards will range from $500-2,000 and the amount of the award is determined by SCT Study Away in consultation with Temple’s financial aid office. Awards will be given depending upon the amount of funds available. All applicants are encouraged to apply. To apply, use the program application form.
Eligibility
In order to qualify for the scholarships above, you must:
- be enrolled as a full-time, matriculated student at Temple University at the time of application for a scholarship;
- have at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average;
- demonstrate financial need;
- be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.
Tuition and Fees (Fall and Spring)
Undergraduate tuition for full-time students (12-17 credits)
PA state residents: $6,503
Out-of-state residents: $11,416
Graduate Tuition
PA state residents: $687 per credit, plus university fee of up to $295
Out-of-state residents: $961 per credit, plus university fee of up to $295
Housing

Pays for a fully equipped apartment (including furniture, silverware, glassware, plates, small appliances and linens).
Other expenses:
- University Services Fee: $295
- Activity fee: $125*
- Car rental (if needed): approximately $545/month for an economy car
- Flight to Los Angeles (if needed): approximately $400 round trip from Philadelphia
- Personal spending money (food, fun and gas): approximately $1600
