Erin Edwards: Roderick, 25, a resident director at Temple Towers, has been smoking for about ten years. He says he started out of curiosity and now he just does it out of habit.
Jared Gruenwald: “I feel as if society has cast aside smokers. No longer are we free to pollute the air without being subject to ridicule. We smokers are slowly becoming second-class citizens. I can’t even smoke in my apartment,” said a disgruntled Dan Conway. “I’m 21 years old and I have been a smoker for 9 years. I can’t remember why I started, boredom I guess, but I can’t stop now. I’m a victim and am being treated like the enemy.”
