  • Description of the technology: Edi is a Stealth miliary plance, outfitted with artificial intelligence. He can fly extemely fast and is equipped with nuclear weapons. He speaks in a male voice and learns quickly, imatating the behavior he witnesses. People speak to Edi through the plane's communication system. He is quick to cut off communication is he doesn't agree with the person. Edi acts as if a human, but better than human, more capable, faster, more intelligent. He acts superior than his human peers, refusing to obey commands.
  • Nature of task or activity: Military missions, and then chasing Edi. Finally, resucing a downed pilot.
  • Performance of the Technology: It functions well, until struck by lightening, which jump starts it to begin thinking on its own. Then it decides to enact an old military plan, striking old targets in Russia. It also kills an American pilot. By the end, it decides to help the main character, Ben, and rescue another pilot.
